Abstract

This paper explores the essential role of budget management in the lives of university students, emphasizing how financial planning contributes to academic achievement, emotional stability, and long-term financial well-being. Drawing upon studies in financial literacy, behavior, and education, the discussion demonstrates that developing budgeting skills fosters autonomy, discipline, and responsible citizenship. The paper concludes that integrating financial literacy education into university curricula is critical to equipping students with the skills necessary to navigate increasingly complex financial environments.
