RESEARCH ON THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF THE COMMUNITY SASCA MONTANA, CARAS-SEVERIN COUNTY, THROUGH AGRO-TOURISM
Abstract
The most valuable tourist offers of the Banat mountain, in general, of Caras Severin County is nature. The desire to spend as much free time as possible in nature, associated with the promotion of the ethno-folkloric culture of the upland areas, allowed the development of rural tourism in these areas, especially agritourism. Mining town, where, over the years, as in many places in the country, the mining activity was interrupted, Sasca Montana faced, in the last decades, a high degree of migration of the local population to other towns, in search of a job. Those who remained tried to orient themselves towards other sectors, exploiting the natural potential of the area and developing a series of activities in the field of tourism.
