RESEARCH ON THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF BARU MARE, HUNEDOARA COUNTY

Abstract

The main objective of rural development is to increase the economic and social well-being of the inhabitants of the respective area. This growth refers to the expansion of economic activities, which can generate a greater number of jobs, so implicitly, it helps to generate new incomes for the entire population. Rural development is closely linked to the Common Agricultural Policy, whose main objectives are to facilitate the population's access to better quality services, the expansion and, at the same time, the modernization of farms, stopping the depopulation of rural areas. The purpose of this work is to discover the strong points of the Baru Mare commune, so that they can be exploited, so as to lead to the sustainable development of the locality. Therefore, the development strategy highlights the main actions, which will help change the Baru Mare commune in a positive way. To achieve this, an innovative approach is needed to find solutions to existing problems, and residents and local authorities must form a team to implement this strategy.
