”THE ANCHOR OF THE DELTA”, THE COMMUNE OF CORBU-BETWEEN COMPLEX TRAVEL SERVICES AND LEISURE TOURISM
Abstract
Known also under the name of ”The Anchor of the Delta”, the commune of Corbu is a locality situated at the border to the ”Danube Delta Reservation” and has a great number of attractions for tourists. In the analysed region angling is one of most popular activities, while the Corbu Beach is near the village and offers the quietness and privacy which no other beach in our country can offer any longer. The natural ressources are those which have been preserved in a form or other and which have not been affected by human interference. Due to its geographical position between Mamaia resort and Năvodari in the South and the Danube Delta in the North, Corbu enjoys a great touristic potential. By their specifics the natural ressources of the region represent on one hand attractions worth visiting and on the other hand they can be valued as ”raw material” in touristic activities, offering the possibilty for various touristic activities.
