ECONOMIC ANALYSIS OF MAGNESIUM CONTAINING FERTILIZERS
Abstract
Research dealing with agricultural production does not, or only in limited terms, cover economic correlations of magnesium fertilizers. The literature mainly focuses on the effects of magnesium on plants, its actual cost is analyzed only indirectly. This also applies to the research of other key nutrients. We intended to examine the cost of the active magnesium ingredient in the major magnesium containing fertilizers currently available in Hungary. We also seek to find answers to what factors influence the costs of the active agents in fertilizers containing MgO.
