TOURISM CONTRIBUTION TO ECONOMY DEVELOPMENT

Abstract


Romania represents one of the countries with a very high touring potential due to the natural resources, more precisely the relief, flora and fauna are unique at European scale. Even if the potential of this sector is not valuated to maximum, presently the tourism represents a very important sector of national economy due to the factors involved and to the results obtained. Lately, the national economy have been affected by the economic and financial crises, but the tourism registered a very dynamic evolution. In many areas the tourism, more precisely the rural tourism and the agro-tourism are the only possibilities for the development of those areas.
