Abstract

In a rapidly changing world, marketing local products is becoming essential for the sustainable development of rural communities, significantly contributing to the creation of added value and the promotion of regional cultural identity. This paper examines innovative marketing strategies that can support local producers in their efforts to promote and commercialize their products. By analyzing case studies from the Banat region, including the locality of Nitchidorf, the research emphasizes the importance of cooperation among farmers, local authorities, and non-governmental organizations. This collaboration is crucial for establishing effective distribution and promotion networks, which are essential for the success of local products. Furthermore, the paper highlights the impact of digital technologies on agricultural marketing, exploring how online platforms can help expand access to larger markets. Another important aspect discussed is the need for education and training in marketing for local farmers, enabling them to maximize their economic potential. The results of the study suggest that by implementing marketing strategies specifically tailored to the community’s needs, local products can achieve greater recognition. Additionally, this approach can significantly contribute to strengthening the rural economy and improving the quality of life for residents. The paper concludes with recommendations for public policies that support agricultural marketing initiatives and encourage the sustainable development of rural communities, inviting greater involvement in support of local products.
